Recommended Reading

The following books have each played a part in changing my life, and I have enjoyed recommending them for years. Now I am privileged to provide links so that you may buy them if you feel they would be helpful to you. Be blessed.

The Final Quest by Rick Joyner. This book is a vision that the Lord gave Rick. While it is not scripture, it is very sound. I've read it ten times! The Word doesn't tell us as much about heaven as I wanted to know, and this vision helped to fill in some of the blanks. I live differently because of this book! I have purchased almost a dozen copies, and it's now available in Spanish. I bought one for my Spanish-speaking neighbor and that one copy has touched several dozen lives! The book is written in thirds, and while I find the second two thirds most interesting, you can read or download the first third at The Hordes of Hell Are Marching. It certainly helps to explain why some of the body of Christ is attacking other parts of the body.

The Bondage Breaker by Neil T. Anderson is a real eye-opener for the oppressed.

This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti. Even though I knew the Word of God, I'm a very visual person, and this helped me to "see" how my prayers affected the kingdom. The book is scripturally based, but the author does take some creative license with the activities of the angels and demons.

Blessing or Curse : You Can Choose :... by Derick Prince helped me to understand the power of my words.

Identifying and Breaking Curses by John Eckhart. This book has a wonderful two page prayer at the end which is very freeing and covers just about everything. I've recommended this book and prayer hundreds of times it's a must have if you have any possibility of a curse or generation curse in your live!

Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets, is a very well written book on the importance of prayer. The style of Dutch's writing is refreshingly casual and encouraging.

Pigs in the Parlor is the first book on deliverance that I ever read. It is by Frank and Ida Mae Hammond who served in deliverance ministry for over 30 years.

Secrets of the Vine: Breaking Through to... is a tiny book but will help you to understand what season you are experiencing in your life. Has the enemy found a foothold, or is God doing a pruning?

And lastly, having experienced my share of trouble in my 21 years of marriage, I recommend The Power of a Praying Wife . By prayer, my marriage has twice been saved when only one of us was willing.
