Here are three "gems" the Lord gave me during my alone time with him. The first two are brief, and were given a year a part and I wasn't reading those scriptures at the time the Lord spoke to me.

#1. The Father gave me this at 5:30am. Although it is short, it was so anointed at the time He gave it to me that when I wrote it down, the page became unreadable because it was covered in oil.

Psalm 23:3 He restores my soul. The Lord spoke the following: Soul= mind, will and emotions. Therefore, He restores my mind, will and emotions. Very simple, but powerful to a broken person.

#2. This came during a lengthy special time with the Lord, when my life was in much turmoil. Luke 11:4 (Part of the Lord's prayer.) And forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Trespass = to violate a boundary. Many times when we need to forgive someone, it is because they have trespassed/violated boundaries that should have been respected. I then spent time in prayer letting the Lord search my heart and forgiving "those who had trespassed against me."

I was so excited after receiving that revelation that I called an old friend to share my tid-bit and invite her to a woman's meeting. I hadn't had much contact with this friend for sometime, but when she heard my voice, she exclaimed my name and said "I knew the Lord would have you call when you were ready." I thought "Ready for what? I just called to invite you somewhere." But I didn't get time to speak the thought because before even finding out why I had called, she proceeded to tell me that one of my family members had violated my boundary's by calling her to speak ill of me. My friend had held on to this information for over two weeks, waiting on the Lord. She wasn't the least bit surprised to find that the Lord had prepared me only moments before to be able to hear things that made me feel like I had been punched in the stomach. Yet because of his word, I forgave.

#3. I was contemplating the concept of "Christ being in us, us being in Him," when He gave me the picture of a single living cell. The cell represents us, the nucleus represents Him being in us. As the cells are in a body, e.g. His body, we are in Him. As a youth, I had heard people discuss what part of the body of Christ they were, e.g. a hand, a foot etc. This picture did away with that image. Even if one were to be part of the foot of the body of Christ, they would at best be one cell of the foot. This gives us the perfect picture of humility. A cell cannot glory on its own. Every part, as the Word says, is needful of the other.

So lets glorify the Lord and pray for unity of the body. Even my relative who violated my boundary's by calling my friend to degrade me, is necessary to the body.
