Nedalee's Personal Testimony

As a kid, I was so shy that I would pay people to stand in line and buy my lunch! I never thought that I would be able to tell someone about Jesus. Sharing the word of our testimony is crucial.

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives unto death.--Revelation 12:11.

One way that we love our lives too much is by not being willing to be transparent and share our failures and victories with others so that they may also be touched by God.

...Now many will hear of the glorious things he did for me, and stand in awe before the Lord, and put their trust in him.--Psalms 40:3.

I now get so excited sharing about the Lord that it's been verified that my blood pressure goes up! You just can't shut me up. I tell anyone and everyone who will listen. It's easy because I'm just sharing what he's done for me, not trying to shove him down someone's throat. We are foster parents and having a social worker visit every week is a great opportunity to talk about the Lord. Several of my social workers have even come to church with us. When we adopted our last son, I didn't know that our attorney was Jewish. I just shared what the Lord was doing. Eleven months later, she repeated back to me word-for-word what I had said and told me that it had "Made her think about God." Turns out, not only was she Jewish, she had studied to be a Rabbi. I presented her with a copy of Signature of God ( info on the Archeology page) as an adoption thank-you gift.

Another area which we have been able to minister is to the natural parents of our foster kids. Two unique experiences happened recently: first we had a Buddhist mom, then a Muslim family. They both attended church with us each Sunday for four months! The Muslim family even brought as many as six relatives at a time. A couple of months before these children came to us, the Lord prepared me by having me read a book on what Muslims believe and what the Koran says about Jesus, written by a former Muslim. I had no reason whatsoever to read the book, and had many other books that I was more interested in reading. I had never met a Muslim person in my life, but I do pray for the salvation of the Muslim people. Also, several years ago I bought a traditional Pakistani dress in a thrift store. I thought it was pretty and had worn it a couple of times. I actually thought the dress was from India, and had forgotten that I owned it, until the Lord prompted me to wear it to my first meeting with this family. The family was both surprised and pleased to see me in the dress.

We are privileged to attend two wonderful renewal churches, one of which is
Harvest Rock Church. The truly wonderful thing about Harvest Rock is that they have people from over 40 nations that attend regularly. They provide translation, and the Buddhist mom was able to meet many Asian woman who love Jesus. The Muslim family even meet a former Muslim man from their country who now believes in Jesus.

As foster parents, we've had prostitutes just out of prison spend the night in our home. I wasn't that thrilled when she brought her pimp for the next visit, but tried to welcome him anyway. He was covered in jewelry, wore a silk suit with patent leather shoes and drove a big Cadillac with a license plate that read: Executive. My husband was asleep at the time, and later asked me how I knew the man was a pimp.
"Honey, the neighbors knew he was a pimp. The neighbor's kids knew he was a pimp. Take my word for it, he was a PIMP!" I told him with exasperation. Anyway, my way of looking at these parents is straight from the Word of God. I can't judge them because,

"Whatever I am now is all because God poured out such kindness and grace upon me."--I Corinthians 15:9.

With the childhood that I had, I could have easily been just like these wayward, moms. Jesus never rejected the publicans or the prostitutes, so why should I?

One of the fruits of renewal in my life happened 6 years ago when I was healed of sever Carpal Tunnel syndrome
when John Arnott prayed for me at a service in Pasadena.
As a renewal junkie, I've always wanted to visit Toronto, yet time and expense has not allowed me to. Now I watch Toronto services live
Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship ( TACF ) on the internet and you can too. Visitors to my home have remarked on how thick the anointing is in my home when the worship from the services is playing in the background.
